The Government of Mexico is involved in a non-international armed conflict against at least the Cartel Jalisco Nueva Generación (CJNG, Jalisco Cartel New Generation) and the Sinaloa Cartel.

The Government of Mexico has been engaging in armed violence against a number of cartels over the past decades. Notably, it is party to two parallels non-international armed conflicts against the Cartel Jalisco Nueva Generación (CJNG, Jalisco Cartel New Generation) and the Sinaloa Cartel.
